Privacy Policy

Ixia (“Ixia,” “we,” “us”) helps people turn their memories into keepsake pages they can share with someone by link. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information. Your name, email address, and a securely hashed password when you create an account.
• Gift content. The letters, photos, videos, audio, music links, and other material you upload or type while composing a gift.
• Visitor interactions.When someone opens a published gift, we record that a view happened, and, if they choose to leave one, any guestbook message or reaction they submit. We don't require a recipient to have an account.
• Payment receipts. If you publish a paid gift, the receipt image or file you upload to prove payment, reviewed manually by us to confirm it.
• Cookies.A session cookie that keeps you signed in, and, for password-protected gifts, a cookie that remembers a correct unlock so a recipient isn't asked twice.
• Usage data. Standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps, collected automatically for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

• To create and operate your account and the gifts you publish.
• To deliver a published gift to whoever opens its link.
• To review and confirm payments, and email you about their status.
• To send account and product emails, such as notifications you've opted into.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse or spam.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that make Ixia work — cloud hosting and storage, email delivery, and similar infrastructure — each bound to use it only to provide that service. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Ixia or our users.

Anything you place inside a published gift is, by design, visible to anyone who opens its link (or, for password-protected gifts, anyone you share the password with). Choose what you include accordingly.

Data retention

We keep your account and gift content for as long as your account is active. If you delete a gift or your account, we remove the associated content within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain limited records (such as payment history) for legal or accounting purposes.

Your choices

You can update your account details, edit or delete a gift, and unpublish a gift at any time from your dashboard. To request a full export or deletion of your account data, contact us at hello@tryixia.com.

Children's privacy

Ixia is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll remove it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the date at the top when we do, and material changes will be communicated by a notice on the site or by email.
